Diana Takieddine received her BA (in Philosophy) from AUB in 1957 (in Philosophy). She was taught piano by her mother, and proceeded to be coached by major musicians, both in Lebanon and abroad. Diana proceeded from one stage to another to become a leading pianist in Lebanon. Her concerts covered several continents. She also taught music at AUB and was instrumental in forming the music department as part of the Fine Arts Department. She passed away early in July in the USA where she has been a resident since 1975.

To commemorate her, Abdel Rahman el Bacha and Billy Eidi have generously offered their time to come from Europe to give us this wonderful concert:
